Through the generous support of a committed donor, the Rural Trust has provided Global Teacher Fellowships to approximately 30 rural teachers for each of the past three years. The Global Teacher Fellowship fits into a larger rural teacher and school leadership effort and is intended to give teachers an opportunity to expand their personal and professional development through high quality, self-designed international travel and study, training in place-based learning, and access to a network of similarly engaged rural educators.
The purpose of the Rural Trust Global Teacher Fellowship program evaluation is to examine the successes and challenges of program implementation and to answer key questions aimed at program improvement and sustainability. Please email responses to this Request For Proposals (RFP) no later than 5:00 pm EST on September 5, 2014 to Doris Terry Williams at doris.williams@ruraledu.org. You may direct all questions and inquiries to the same.
